Net Zero Champion Award - Bronze

The Engineering Matters Awards celebrate the engineers who are working towards making the world a better place. Therefore, we were so proud to win a bronze prize Net Zero Champions category!

It was an honour to celebrate our engineering innovation alongside other high calibre organisations, who are also leading the way in developing solutions for a more sustainable future. We were delighted to receive further recognition for our zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell truck design. Well done to all the other winners!

Hydrogen for Transport Award

In the very first year of the Hydrogen UK Awards, it was an honour to win in the Hydrogen for Transport Award category! Especially, when alongside such high calibre finalists.

Hosted by Hydrogen UK, the UK’s hydrogen trade association, the awards celebrate individuals and companies for their exceptional achievements in helping drive the Hydrogen Industry. It was therefore a privilege to receive this recognition.

During Hydrogen Week in February 2024, we won a prestigious award for our innovative HGV at Hydrogen Award 2024.

It was encouraging to see the great progress being made across the hydrogen eco-system from research and training through to applications of hydrogen technology. It was an honour to be shoulder to shoulder with fellow hydrogen innovators.

It was an excellent way to start 2024, by winning four e-mobility awards! Not only were we acknowledged as winners in innovation and ingenuity categories, but we were delighted to also receive the prestigious 'Prix d’honneur’ award of the night!

Excellence in Environmental Sustainability

HVS were announced as the winner of the Excellence in Environmental Sustainability award at the BQF (British Quality Foundation) awards ceremony and we are incredibly pleased with the result.

It is a real honour to receive recognition from such a prestigious organisation, and celebrate our achievement in business excellence alongside the other high calibre ARDS 2023 finalists. For Helping The Environment

We were so happy to win a Green Apple Environment Award – for helping the environment. It is great recognition for the impact that our zero-emission green hydrogen HGV will have on decarbonising the heavy goods vehicle sector.

The Green Apple Environment Awards, the annual international campaigns to recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world. The Green Apple Environment Awards were launched in 1994 by The Green Organisation and have become well established as one of the most popular environmental campaigns in the world.

Rising Star Company of The Year

We were thrilled to pick up The Rising Star Award at the Hydrogen For Life awards.

Hydrogen for Life 2023 is dedicated to the discussion of hydrogen power and fuel cell technology across industry experts and innovators. Therefore, what a real honour it was to win this award and be recognised for the great progress we are making in decarbonising the commercial vehicle industry. Now in its third year, Hydrogen for Life 2023 is the must-attend event dedicated to the discussion of hydrogen power and fuel cell technology.

Best Fuel Cell EV

The E-Mobility Awards (incorporating the Electric Vehicle Awards) seeks out ingenuity, innovation and achievement across the sector.

We were therefore, delighted to win the ‘Best Fuel Cell EV’ award and have the innovative design of our commercial vehicle hydrogen fuel cell propulsion system recognised as being industry leading.

Low Emissions

Winning The Good Small Business Award for Low Emissions was a big 2023 highlight. Whilst a small business, HVS have big plans, and this award recognises our focus on helping the heavy goods industry to drive cleaner, perform better and decarbonise faster - all for a better world.

Road Haulage

The Hydrogen Awards have been established as an annual measure of enterprise, innovation and excellence – in standards, implementation and thinking about the future and about bringing the use of hydrogen to all industries and sectors and to the public.

Business Leader of the Year Award - Jawad Khursheed

The Scottish Asian & Business Awards were held to recognise a wide range of achievements from Asian individuals across Scotland who positively impact business, charity, sport, arts, culture, education and medicine. The event personified the spirit of the Asian-Scots community. Our CEO, Jawad Khursheed was honoured to receive the Business Leader of the Year Award.

Small Disruptor of the Year & CEO/Director of the Year

Celebrating the diversity of UK businesses, the Business UK Awards are designed to allow even the smallest business to compete with multi-national enterprises. HVS, as a new market entrant, were proud to receive awards for Small Disrupter of the Year, as well as CEO/Director of the Year for Jawad Khursheed - celebrating the impact we’ve already made in the industry.

It was fantastic news to hear that our CEO, Jawad Khursheed, had been chosen as Tech Entrepreneur of the Year. The Scottish SME Business Awards celebrate the most dedicated business professionals that have stood out from the crowd and have shown great entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen. So it was truly fantastic recognition for Jawad to receive.
