AXLE CONFIGURATION

The tractor unit features a 4X2 axle configuration (4 wheels, with the rear 2 driven).

This is the optimal arrangement for a zero emission HGV, allowing space between the wheels to accommodate the Hydrogen storage, and other powertrain systems.

GROUND-UP DESIGN

The vehicle is designed around Fuel Cell powertrain, rather than forcing the new technology into an existing HGV vehicle, designed originally for the internal combustion engine. In order to best optimise efficiency of the whole vehicle, a bespoke design approach has been employed.

INCREASED VISION

Direct vision has been greatly improved, with over 15% additional visibility achieved via increase glazing area, and low side door glass - allowing a kerbside view to VRUs (Vulnerable Road Users, such as cyclists & pedestrians).

ELONGATED AERODYNAMIC CAB

Newly introduced legislation allows for a longer truck cab, that allows increased aerodynamic performance, greater interior space and improved safety.
